Celebrating #1000

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Lymn, married on Hamilton Island on the 18th October 2010. This was my 1000th wedding ceremony which we celebrated with a bottle of Bolinger.

1. Experience
I have officiated over 1000 weddings in the Whitsunday's since 2004.

2. Calming Presence
My testimonials will show that I have a tranquil and calming presence to help relax the bride and groom leading up to and on your special day. In the past I was a PADI dive instructor, which involved a high degree of taking note of a persons composure and how to encourage them to relax and feel comfortable (not only for their safety but also for their own personal enjoyment)

3. Professional & Confidentiality
I have a high degree of administrational skills developed over the past 25 years in 2IC roles, business management, coupled with a Bachelors Degree in Financial Administration (Accounting), Certificate IV in Celebrancy and community and official recognition as a Commissioner of Declarations. I will ensure and double check that all your legal documents are correctly completed and secured correctly for privacy controls.

4. Established
I am a well recognized professional Civil Celebrant with all the local wedding service providers and as stated in “Experience”, I have been conducting weddings in the Whitsunday's since 2004.

5. Dress Code
I believe the Celebrant should dress as a professional, not as a guest. My suits and outfits have been made for this specific purpose and in most cases will be able to colour match / compliment your bridesmaids dresses or your chair sashes.

6. Flexible
Due to my professional background and celebrant experience, I am able to communicate and adapt to all circumstances, changing my requirements as your needs change.

7. Fair Price
My price is not the lowest, nor the highest. After officiating at many ceremonies, I have a fair idea in the time involved in preparation for your ceremony. My time is not undervalued. This ensures your service is carried out to the highest degree, no compromising nor rush.

8. Consideration
I am well versed with Multi-cultural situations and always willing to listen and learn to be able to prepare your ceremony which will reflect any cultural and / or personal significance.

9. Ceremony Choice & Creativity
As my wedding couple, you will be provided with many samples and choices for your ceremony. You are encouraged to put forward your own personal stories, so that I am able to write these into your ceremony, making it yours.

10. Local Knowledge
I have lived in Airlie Beach since 1999 and can advise on many local attractions, venues, islands, weather and service providers. This is the tropics and at least once a year, our small community is cut off from the main highway linking us to Proserpine and several times per year, the highway between Proserpine and Mackay is in flood. (IE: in March 2010 - Cyclone Ului and in September 2010 – unseasonal downpours). Choosing a local means I am here and available. For example, on Sunday 21st March 2010, I was still able to officiate at a local wedding at Coral Sea Resort as planned, less than 12 hours after Cyclone Ului hit Airlie Beach.
